At Shinya`s, we provide more than just objects; we share a sense of serenity and trust. If your selection does not resonate with your soul, we are here to support you with our professional after-sales service.
1. Return & Exchange Eligibility
- 30-Day Window: Most items can be returned or exchanged for a full refund within 30 days of delivery, provided you have proof of purchase.
- Original Condition: Items must be in their original, unworn, and unused condition.
- Specific Exclusions:
- Customized Collections: Items featuring laser engravings, custom dimensions, or personalized designs—such as our custom-designed coffee cups—are final sale and cannot be returned.
- Hygiene Sensitive Items: For health reasons, earrings cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Scent & Consumable Collections: Our incense, agarwood materials, candles, and soaps cannot be returned or exchanged once the packaging has been opened or the product has been used.
- Final Sale: Items marked as “Clearance” or “Final Sale” are non-refundable.
2. Defective & Damaged Items
- Immediate Replacement: If an item is found to be defective within 30 days of purchase, we will offer a replacement at no additional cost.
- Wear and Tear: Please note that damages caused by regular wear—such as the natural aging or cracking of wood beads over time—do not qualify for a replacement.
- Quality Commitment: For premium items priced at $49+, if a non-wear-related quality issue occurs within 1 year of purchase, you may request a special promo code for 50% off a replacement of the same item.
3. International Return Process
As our artisanal boutiques and fulfillment centers are located in China, please note the following for international orders:
- Shipping Expenses: Unless the return is due to a confirmed defect or shipping error, customers are responsible for covering all international shipping fees and any associated customs duties.
- Return Labels: Prepaid return labels are only provided for damaged or defective products reported within the policy timeframe.
- Tracking Requirement: We highly recommend using a shipping service with a tracking number. Shinya`s is not responsible for return packages lost in transit if sent via a non-trackable carrier.
4. Order Cancellations
- Standard Orders: Cancellation requests for a full refund must be made within 5 hours of placing the order.
- Pre-orders: Pre-orders can be canceled at any time for a full refund, provided they have not yet entered the processing stage.
How to Initiate a Return
To ensure a smooth and secure process, we do not list our return address publicly. Please follow these steps:
- Contact Support: Email us at info@shinyas.com with your order number and the reason for your return.
- Obtain Authorization: Our team will review your request and provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) along with the specific address for our International Return Center.
- Secure Packing: Pack your item securely in its original packaging and include a note with your order number.
- Processing Time: Returns are processed within 5–7 business days after being received and inspected by our quality team.
